Traditionally, magnetic hyperthermia (MH) has been associated with cancer therapy — but our review highlights how magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) can be engineered to drive innovative fields beyond oncology: think antibiotic delivery, tissue rewarming after cryopreservation, neuromodulation, catalysis, and more.
