I obtained my bachelor degree in Chemistry at the University of Zaragoza in 2016. During my last year I joined Carlos Cativiela’s group where I learnt how to work in an organic chemistry laboratory, indeed a synthesized new proline analogues. Later on, I attended the Masters Course in Nanostructured Materials for Nanotechnology Applications, working at the Institute of Nanoscience of Aragon (INA) facilities. Is then when I enrolled in Bionanosurf group to carry out my Masters thesis under the supervision of Rafael Martín Rapún and Valeria Grazú. During these months I prepared block copolypeptides that self-assemble in solution yielding pH responsive micelles. As I passed a great time, I decide to go forward and apply for a PhD grant. Lucky me, I was awarded with a Spanish Ministry grant for 4 years. Hence, I am highly motivated within my PhD, which is about synthesizing new polymeric structures for applications in nanotechnology, whose supervisors are Rafael Martín-Rapún and Jesús M. de la Fuente. Currently, I am encapsulating antibiotics polymeric micelles, for treating multi-drug resistant bacteria.
Besides, I am very interested in studying the complexity of the self-assembly process for polymer structures and its applications in developing new approaches in nanotechnology. In addition, exploring new tools in polymer chemistry would allow our group to face off new challenging applications. Wide variety of applications are yet to explore.

Hobbies: In my spare time I enjoy very much practicing all kind of sports, specially running and cross country ski (obviously in winter). But traveling is one of favorite hobbies, actually, I really like traveling diving through each country culture.
