This is a multidisciplinary project which aims to develop POM-hybrids, by combination of polyoxometalates and antimicrobial peptides, with an expected synergistic biofilm disruption and antimicrobial activities. These new hybrids will serve as preventive or treatment coatings of different materials and surfaces.
